The Basic Requirements
Customer service, employee safety, and mutual profitability are some of our highest priorities at Dot Foods. Learn more about the criteria we put in place to ensure our future relationship is the right choice for everyone involved.
Minimums
You can get one case of each product you need, but the order must be at least 5,000 pounds and 1,000 pounds per temp.
Storage
You should own or lease a warehouse to ensure product quality and safety.
Accessibility
Your warehouse's dock needs to be able to safely accommodate our 53-foot trailer.
Unloading
Your warehouse should have the proper equipment so our drivers can safely unload the pallets of product at your dock.
Ordering From Us
We love the diversity of our customers. From large distributors to independents and ordering full truckloads every week to LTL shipments once a month, each order and customer is important. To allow for this kind of variance, we have numerous ways for you to place an order with us. Here are a few options, but you can talk to your Dot representative during onboarding to discuss which option best fits your needs.
Ecommerce
Create a cart and place an order on our website. Discover the benefits of using our logged in shopping experience or take a look at our Brands or Feautured Product Categories.
EDI
We also accept orders through the Electronic Data Interchange (EDI). It's a secure and efficient way to receive purchase order confirmations, invoices, pricing, and sales reports.
2 Payment Options at Dot
Check
We also accept payments via check. Please account for additional days that your check will be in the mail. Your on-time payment is based on our final receipt and processing of the check.
