ARDMORE, Okla. - Dot Foods, the nation's largest food redistributor, is proud to announce the promotion of Mike Ford to general manager of its Oklahoma Distribution Center. Dot Foods' Western Region General Manager, Rich Raham, made the announcement.

"Mike has been a great asset to our company for a number of years," Raham said of Ford, who's been with Dot for over 6 years. "He's shown willingness throughout his career to do whatever it takes to get the job done. Mike has been successful in a number of positions in different locations around the company, and I have no doubt he'll do the same with this opportunity."

Mike started with Dot Foods in 2007 as an assistant warehouse manager at Dot's Cambridge City, Ind. Distribution Center before being promoted Indiana warehouse manager in 2008. He transferred to Oklahoma in 2011 and has held the warehouse manager, assistant general manager and now general manager positions. Prior to joining Dot Foods, Mike operated his own landscaping company for more than 10 years. As general manager, Mike will oversee all day-to-day operations of the Oklahoma DC, such as warehouse, transportation, human resources and all supporting departments.

"I am thrilled to have the opportunity to serve our team in Ardmore. We are loaded with talented folks who drive our success every day," Ford said. "Dot's growth has provided me with many opportunities for personal and professional development and I'm excited to help our team take things to the next level."
