DYERSBURG, Tenn. - Dot Foods, the nation's largest food industry redistributor, announced it will hire an additional 45 full- and part-time warehouse positions at its Dyersburg, Tennessee, distribution center. The Dyersburg facility officially opened in January and is the company's ninth and newest distribution center nationwide.

"We need to grow our team, because the Dyersburg warehouse is preparing to assume territory in Arkansas and Alabama that is currently being serviced by another Dot facility," said Matt Duggan, Dot Foods Tennessee assistant general manager. "We just had the largest weekly volume in the 55-year history of our business.  We are adding these new positions so we can continue to take care of our customers now and in the future."

The Dyersburg distribution center serves middle and west Tennessee (from Nashville to the west), Arkansas, Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi and the boot heel of Missouri. The 45 new positions being added represent a 30 percent increase in Dot's Tennessee workforce.

All full-time positions with Dot Foods include excellent benefits: quarterly and annual bonuses; paid personal days, sick days, vacation time and holidays; health, dental, and vision coverage; short- and long-term disability; and a 401(k) with company match.
