Dot Foods truck drivers operating out of the Ardmore distribution center took a break from the road to kick off Dot’s annual Driver Appreciation Week, which is celebrated at Dot distribution centers across the country. Several events were planned for the week of Sept. 10 to recognize and thank Dot’s professional drivers for their hard work and dedication.
“Our drivers spend endless hours on the road and travel millions of miles a year to provide incredible service for each of Dot’s customers,” said Bill King, general manager of the Ardmore DC. “This week allows the rest of our employees and management to show our appreciation for the drivers’ commitment to our company.”
Drivers were treated to several events throughout the week, including an evening of dinner and dancing on Saturday night at The Cliff at Cedarvale. The DC also held cookouts throughout the week, including a Blue Pig BBQ, a pancake breakfast and snow cones. In addition, Dot hosted a pool tournament Friday night and treated drivers to a morning of golf at the Lakeview Golf Course to conclude the week’s festivities.
