MODESTO, Calif. – Dot Foods’ Modesto distribution center employees and their family members recently joined together with others in the trucking industry for the 10th annual Truckin’ for Hospice Ride. On July 23, 20 employees and their families supported the motorcycle/car rally with a ride through the sierra foothills.

The event was presented on behalf of the California Trucking Association-San Joaquin Unit and provides the trucking industry the opportunity to join together and raise money for Hospice of San Joaquin and Community Hospice, Inc. Both are non-profit organizations that care for terminally ill patients by providing in-home care or caring for patients at selected hospices houses. The event has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars over the years.
