Mt. Sterling, Ill. - Dot Foods, the nation's largest food redistributor, is expanding its offering of The Hain Celestial Group products with the introduction of Sensible Portions® brand crackers, chips and straws into its offering. Dot will begin shipment of Sensible Portions products on January 28, 2013.
"This is an expansion of our already strong offering of healthy The Hain Celestial Group products," said Debby Rabe, senior business development manager at Dot Foods. "Healthy and organic snacks are a rapidly-growing area and we're excited to expand these offerings to our customers."
Sensible Portions brand Garden Veggie Straws®, Veggie Chips, Potato Straws and Apple Straws will join Dot's offering of Terra® chips, WestSoy® Organic Non-Dairy Beverages and WestSoy(r) Tofu by Hain Celestial. Dot customers can now order as little as one case of Sensible Portions brand products within their Dot order, rather than having to meet required minimums of a direct order.
"We are proud to be partnering with Dot Foods," said Thomas Flanery, Director of National Sales, Foodservice at Hain Celestial. "This presents an opportunity to grow sales across all channels, which is a great competitive edge for our Sensible Portions brand and products."
