Mt. Sterling, Ill. - Dot Foods, the nation's largest food redistributor, is proud to announce the promotion of 28-year employee Tammy Underwood to customer development representative manager in the company's Sales Department. Brian Middendorf, director of sales support, made the announcement.
"Tammy has displayed a great history of leadership ability that will surely translate into her new position," said Middendorf. "Her years of experience in sales are going to be a tremendous asset."
Underwood began her career at Dot working in administration in 1984. She most recently worked as a customer development representative team leader as well as a business development manager prior to that. In her new position, Underwood will manage a team of Foodservice and DFID customer development representatives along with continuing her current responsibilities.
"I really enjoy working for a company that supports its employees' growth and development," said Underwood. "I'm excited about this new opportunity."
