Dot Foods began its Quality and Service Awards program in 1998 to recognize manufacturers who provide best-in-class communication, service, and support. Recipients are monitored monthly on a number of criteria regarding inbound service levels, electronic data interchange implementation and loading efficiency.

The Quality and Service Awards are given to the manufacturers during special presentations at their corporate facilities.
